The Legal ‘Must Knows’ for Marketing Campaigns in 2020

As part of our APMC educational event series, Hayes Solicitors will be hosting our legal session in The Marker Hotel, Dublin on Thursday, 23rd of January 2020.
This morning event will focus on two very relevant topics of conversation;
1. Gaming and Lotteries Act
2. GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
Firstly, the session will take an in-depth look at changes to the Gaming and Lotteries Act, changes which will have a very real effect on APMC members.
This session will give you an opportunity to fully understand the new Act and its potential ramifications to you and your clients promotional activities, such as running competitions for brands.

Secondly, the session will be detailing how the data protection law has developed since the introduction of the GDPR in May 2018, particularly in the context of direct and digital marketing.

The first part of the session will be presented by Laura Fannin, (Partner | Commercial & Business team) and the second part of the session will be presented by Ruth Prendeville (Solicitor | Commercial & Business team) from Hayes Solicitors.
